072008 COME Matthew 14:22-29 walking on the water Is. 43:19 - God is on the move in my life. Understand His grace & wisdom - there's a process taking place in our lives that causes us to look like Jesus - you're not a Christian until you are a Disciple - We will never grow into what we cannot see. Allow the process of change; give myself unto the Hand of God - The grace on my life is to do the Will of God (where there's grace, there's a right place) - The FOUNDATIONS must be sure so that I don't fall away - See something i.e.the work that was begun in me. - The NOW season is URGENT!!! It's not for 2028 or later - Be visible our present (NOW) so that the next can occur! - THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE/BY CHOICE I WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT - Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things fenced in and hidden which you do not know, do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand - Cry out to God not just to your neighbor! HE WILL ANSWER!!! - Hannah cried out to God for a son (1 Sam. 1) - Bartamaeus cried out to Jesus (leper); woman w/issue of Blood; The woman @the well in Samaria Jer. 29:11 - God answers out of the designated future and promises He made to me A place called "Come" - Peter's relationship with Jesus gave him a preferred future. - He wasn't lectured - definition.: to enter a new course of action, To reach the point of being or becoming - Get a glimpse of your potential The call to come is to be who He's called me to be. The boat represented the hindrances of life - - My visibility in Christ allows Him to speak to who I am in Him (and not stay stuck in the boat) - It was not about walking on water, it was about becoming, about potential, about possibilities. - I am a POSSIBILITY; I am MORE THAN WHAT I SEE! 1 Peter 5:10 The God of all grace who implies blessing and favor will complete you - after you suffer a little while, God will show you it'll be all right - understand the dimension of God in me and the need of Christ operating in my life - Peter's denial of Christ didn't delay his destiny The word that declares God will satisfy me with long life!!!!! - come out of the self-imposed limitations, quit lingering in what I can't do - turn my eyes from worthless things and look up at the Father - live in the urgency of NOW
