This is the sermon from eleven o'clock AM Worship Service of the North Fayette United Methodist Church of Fayetteville, GA on October 25, 2009. Today's sermon is titled "Partners in the Gospel." The message asserts that as part of the Body of Christ each member is connected to every other member to accomplish a common task of sharing the good news of Christ with others. Three words: Privilege, Participation, and Promise are integral in this aspect of the Christian life. This is the 6th Sunday in our Fall Spiritual Renewal and Stewardship Campaign. Our congregation is reading the book, "Irresistible Invitation: Responding to the Extravagant Heart of God," by Rev. Maxie Dunham. Rev. Doug Burrell brings today's message. The entire worship service and individual Portions of this service (Testimony, Children's Sermon, Prelude/Offertory, Call to Worship by Agape Ringers, Anthem by NFUMC Winds) can be heard individually at this site under the titles beginning with the date 102509. The service also featured the Agape Ringers Hand Bell Choir who presents a Medley of Gospel Tunes for the Call to Worship. Mrs. LuAnn Latzanich is our Organist/Pianist and plays the Prelude and Offertory. Mr. Mike Daniell is the Director of Music who directs the Chancel Choir, Hand Bells and the North Fayette Winds. The NFUMC Winds preset today's Anthem. Our Liturgists today are Mrs. Nancy Daniell (Epistle Reading from Philippians 1), Mr. Levoyd Jones (Gospel Reading from Matthew 28), and Rev. Bill Koetje (Prayer, Confession of Faith and The Peace). Mr. Jim Lancaster shares his testimony as part of today's service.
