This is the second Sunday of Advent, which is a traditional time of preparation for Christmas. When Christ was born, Bethlehem became history's great intersection. Heaven and earth met there when Jesus Christ came as a baby. Mary and Joseph, the Shepherds, and the Magi all went there with purpose. Hundreds of ancient prophecies converged in that place. It became the intersection of great and lowly, old and new, divine and human. Throughout Advent, Pastor Joel will be talking about people who went to Bethlehem.
