To go from a promise to a purpose, we can look at the life of Joseph. He received a dream from God, but when he told his brothers they hated him. They sold him into slavery, and he was put in charge of his masters house. he was falsely accused and thrown in prison, but then interpreted Pharaoh's dream and was then put in charge of Pharaoh's kingdom. All that he went through was to fulfill his purpose. Even though your calling or dreams are of God people may still not care or even hate you for it. But always trust God!
