We all want to hear from God, but most of would claim that we don't believe we ever have. While there are many reasons why we don't hear, it usually comes down to the fact that we aren't listening. In 1 Samuel 3, the boy, Samuel, hears from the Lord, while the Priest, Eli, does not. Often, hearing from Lord simply requires being willing to listen, and being humble to receive.
