Before Isaiah could respond in faith to God's call upon his life, he had to encounter God. In that encounter, Isaiah became aware of God's holiness, his own sinfulness and the sinfulness of his people. Isaiah also received personal redemption from sin through the grace of a loving God. Ony then can we respond faithfully to God's call to be, go or do.
