When Christ came, he "tabernacled" among us, being the very presence of God among us. When Christ died, the curtain before the Most Holy Place was torn in two, symbolizing that all believers have access into the presence of God at any time. When Christ ascended, he sent his Holy Spirit, making us God's tabernacle.
