In our lives it is easy to think that we have arrived, that we have hit the ceiling of how spiritual we are. However, complacency leads to independence, which leads to disobedience. It leads to consequences and guilt that we don't want to carry. In order to avoid this, we must TAKE GOD SERIOUSLY!
