The Book of Jeremiah records the final prophecies to Judah, warning of oncoming destruction if the nation does not repent. Jeremiah calls out for the nation to turn back to God. At the same time, Jeremiah recognizes the inevitability of Judahâ€"s destruction due to its unrepentant idolatry and immorality. It also emphasizes such themes as God's personal love for his people as both parent and a husband, the need for national and person repentance, and the importance of sincere religious faith rather than formal adherence to external ceremony. 1: Where was Jeremiah's Focus? Where is our Focus? 2: Is it possible to hear God's calling when our focus is own ourselves? 3: Jeremiah continued to share Gods word despite the ridicule and punishment it caused him and he didn't get any real results. Could we be as faithful as Jeremiah if our ministry wasn't being heard? 4: Why was God so angry with Israelâ€"s sin? Is he that angry with us when we sin? 5: Does God use humble people more often or does he use the proud people more often? 6: When does life start?
