Why or why not? What would your life be like if you were less dependent on money and possessions for your sense of security? What would it take to get to that point? Does knowing that your possessions are temporary and that God will bring about justice in the end give you a sense of dread or a sense of encouragement? In what ways? You may or may not be responsible for paying workers or employees but God wants us to treat others with fairness rather than seeking our good at their expense. Are there people in your life you struggle to treat fairly? Who are they? Why is it a struggle for you? Would God have been just to simply “look the other way” with our sin? In what ways does knowing that God is a God of justice help you understand what happened at the cross when Jesus died? Does it give you a different understanding or deeper appreciation of your forgiveness?
