The Importance of Dreams

  • Pastor Jeff Williams
  • 264 listens

Were starting a new series this morning called, Shattered Dreams. Well be talking about the importance of dreams, and dreams are huge. God put dreams in the hearts of His people to accomplish great things for His glory. Dreams get us up in the morning; dreams can occupy our minds at night. We have goals, but those goals are usually to attain a dream. When dreams are shattered, it just takes away hope. When dreams are shattered, it gives us less of a reason to get up in the morning. It can lead to depression. It can lead to other things. Dreams are very much a Biblical concept, so this series in my estimation is not just fluff. Its not fluff at all. Dreams are substance. Having a vision for the future, the Bible says, Without that, My people perish; so were going to spend about a month or so talking about the importance of dreams, how those dreams are fulfilled and lived out. I thought who better to address that subject than the one who was called, The Dreamer, and that's Joseph. Were going to take a little bit of a panorama view from age 17 to around age 37 in Josephs life. If youd turn in your Bibles please to Genesis 37, we will find the story of Joseph. The spotlight changes now from Jacob or Israel, his father, to his 17-year-old son who shows this remarkable gift of leadership at a very young age. So were introduced to Joseph here in Genesis 37:2 (page 38 of pew Bibles). Joseph, a young man of seventeen, was tending the flocks with his brothers, the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his fathers wives, and he brought their father a bad report about them. Lets pause right there for a moment. We might think that Joseph is a tattletale. He is 17. He sees his brothers doing something wrong, and he goes back to his father and tells on them. Im going to demonstrate to you today that its more than that. Joseph at age 17, though he is the 11th son, is in a role of a supervisor. He has been put in charge of his brothers. By the time Joseph is born, there are 10 other brothers. I guarantee you theres been a hierarchy. Probably Ruben, the oldest, is at the top. Hes probably the leader. By the time Joseph comes along, he is the surprise. Nobody is expecting to have a brother. Joseph comes into the pecking order, and guess where his dad puts him? His dad puts him at the very top of the pecking order. At age 17, he is his brothers boss. It has to do with a couple things. Number one, though he is the 11th son, he is the first son of Jacobs first love, Rachel. For that reason, he has a special place in Jacobs heart. Secondly, there are natural or innate gifts of leadership that are in place in this young mans life. Theyre going to manifest themselves time and time again. How do you think his brothers feel when this youngster, this little brother, is promoted and advanced above them? Have you ever been on a job-maybe youve been there a long time-and you feel youre more qualified than some young whipper-snapper just out of college? He comes in and starts getting more responsibility than you. Have you seen that happen? How do the co-workers feel about that? Usually, they dont look at it too kindly. What about in a family? Did you have a family where there was a brother or sister that was favored more than another? There was a favorite in the family; anybody have that? In my family, it was me! I could do no wrong in my mothers eyes. I would get my sisters into trouble all of the time. They are 14 and 18 years older than I am. Ill tell you an example of how mean I could be. When I was a teenager, my sister Sandy and I would be in there eating lunch, and I would look at my sister and smile because I knew what I was about to do. Nothing I was about to say was true, but I just wanted to get her in trouble. I said, Ma! Sandys taking my food! Without even finding out the facts, Sandy! Stop taking his food! Brenda laughs because she saw that happen many times. Id start laughing. Shed be like, Mom! I wasnt doing it! No matter what I said or did, I was the favorite! So it is with Joseph. He is a daddys boy. He can do no wrong, and his brothers cant stand the sight of him. Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his other sons because he had been born to him in his old age, and he made a richly ornamented robe for him. When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him. His father said only positive things to Joseph-always telling him what a good son he was, always telling him what a good leader he was, always speaking about his future. His brothers couldnt say a kind word. Everything his father said, his brothers would say the opposite. Then his father demonstrates that love by providing for Joseph a robe, this multi-colored robe of fine linen that he would wear. This is not the robe of a laborer. This was yet another thing to make a distinction between him and his brothers. They were the laborers. They were in the fields with the sheep. He was their supervisor. You dont go out to the fields to work with sheep with these kinds of fancy duds on, hand-made linen from the finest material with beautiful colors. What it stood for was his authority. It stood for his prominence. His father saw leadership in him that made him stand out from the rest. These clothes were symbolic of that. These clothes tell Joseph that he was different, that his father had put a special authority and trust upon him and in his life; this robe or tunic, whatever you want to call it, was very significant to Joseph. When he put it on, he felt special. When he put it on, he saw the dream his father had for him. He saw his worth and significance in his fathers eyes. Every time his brothers saw it, it reminded them that he was their fathers favorite. It reminded them that he had a position of authority over them when he was the youngest, and he shouldnt have it; so their hatred for him grew. It gets worse. Joseph has a dream in Verse 5, …and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. He said to them, Listen to this dream I had: We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, and your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it. His brothers said to him, Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us? And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said. It seems like that phrase gets repeated. Just when you think they cant hate him any more, they hate him even more. Were going to see their hatred advance to a point where they actually want to take his life. Thats how bad its going to get. Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. Listen, he said, I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me. Thats probably his father and either his step-mother, because Rachel is deceased-she died giving birth to Benjamin-or it could be his sister; but the 11 stars are definitely his other brothers. When he told this to his father as well as his brothers, his father rebuked him and said, What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you? His brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind. His father understood that God speaks through dreams, that maybe this dream was a prophesy. Maybe it would come to pass. Well, a sad turn of events happens in Josephs life. Again, in his supervisor capacity, he is sent out to the field to bring a word from his father. He is wearing his multi-colored robe. He cant find his brothers at first. When he finally finds them, while hes off in a distance, theyre plotting to kill him. Verse 18, But they saw him at a distance, and before he reached them, they plotted to kill him. Here comes that dreamer! they said to each other. That word in the Hebrew means the master dreamer, the chief dreamer, the captain of dreamers. It was meant to be derogatory. It was meant to be a condescending term. He didnt mean it in a positive way at all, Here comes that dreamer. Come now, lets kill him and throw him into one of those cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then well see what comes of his dreams. Now the older brother, Ruben, hears of this. He says, No, no, no, lets not kill him. After all, he is our brother. Lets throw him down into a well and just let him die there. So that was the plan-to throw him in this empty cistern, this empty well, and let him die. Ruben said that because his plan was to come back later and take him out, rescue him and bring him back to his father. That was the plan. That way he wasnt going to die. He was being a big brother; he was being kind of protective of his little brother, so when Joseph comes, heres what they do. Verse 23, …when Joseph came to his brothers, they stripped him of his robe-richly ornamented robe that he was wearing-and they took him and threw him into the cistern. Now the cistern was empty; and there was no water in it. So an act of violence is committed. Their hatred and bitterness boiled over. They grabbed their brother, and he was confused. These are his brothers; he loves them, and they are ripping the robe off his back. Listen, they could have beat him up, and they could have thrown him in the well without doing that; but they take the robe off of him. Why? Because they hated what it represented. They hated the dream it stood for. Every time they saw that robe, it reminded them that their father loved Joseph more than them. He was in a position that they didnt rightfully think he should have, so they attacked the robe. They shredded the robe; they removed the robe. In doing so, their thinking was they were destroying that dream and the dreamer in the process. They throw him in the well, but the story doesnt work out well. Ruben comes back to get him, and hes gone. Hes gone because his brothers sold him to some men-the Ishmaelites-that were traveling through. The Ishmaelites would then in turn sell him to the Egyptians, and Joseph would become a slave. Now they have to go back to their father and bring the news that his favorite son is dead. Isnt it something that when we sin, we often dont think about how much pain it is going to cause other people in our lives, people that we love? They loved their dad. That wasnt the issue. In their hatred for their brother, they didnt stop to think that by doing this, it was going to destroy their father-just destroy their father. When we go into sin sometimes, we dont play it all the way through and think, What is this action going to do to my family? What will it do to the people who love me? Sin doesnt think that way. It thinks only of itself, so they thought only of themselves. Now all of the sudden they come to the realization that we have to break our fathers heart. So they concoct a story that a beast devoured their brother. They kill an animal; they dip the robe in the blood, and they bring it back to their father. Jacob is devastated. Jacob says, This is going to kill me! This is going to bring me to the grave! I cannot live through this! He refuses to be comforted. The boys, hypocritically, who had taken his son and sold him into slavery try to comfort their dad over their loss-hypocrisy. Now we see in this story three types of people. The first one we see is Jacob. He is what we are going to call this morning a dream waker. A dream waker is somebody who awakens a dream in another person. A dream waker is somebody who causes the potential that lies within a person or a group to come alive, to be lived out and to be realized. A dream waker could be a pastor; it could be a coach; a teacher; a Scout leader; a parent; a sibling; a President; some other figure. It could be an author. I was reading Dr. Kings speech in its entirety just this past week. When he spoke from the Abraham Lincoln Memorial and said, I have a dream, he awakened that dream inside of people. When John F. Kennedy gets up and he says, Ask not what the country can do for you but what you can do for your country… President Barack Obama says, We are the ones weve been waiting for. When you hear those kinds of words, it inspires you to great things. It inspires you to be who God created you to be. Hopefully, there have been in your life some dream wakers, some people who saw the potential in you and spoke to it and spoke to your future. By a dream waker, I dont mean somebody who is just this kind of pabulum of a motivational speaker who gets up and goes, You can do it! You can be all you can be! Go get it! You can do it! Thats not what were talking about here today. Were talking about somebody who sees a specific goal, trait, talent, gift, ability, and speaks about that in your life. They say, You are this, and you can accomplish that! Go get it! Realize what you can do with your life for the Lord! In my life, I think of Pastor Lyon in Rockford. When I was getting ready to leave for school and study for the ministry, he identified a leadership gift in me. I was just a teenager. Our church was very small at the time. He said in front of the whole church, Gods going to use Jeff. Gods going to use Jeff in leadership. Gods going to use Jeff in the ministry. I remember thinking, He is? I dont know about that! He must see something in me that I dont see. He must see a gift or a calling in me that I dont see. So he spoke to that calling in my life. I remember just thinking, Well, if he thinks thats true, that must be true. If he thinks there is a gift in me, there must be! If he thinks theres a calling in me, there must be! So that served as a catalyst in me to prepare, to study and to serve because he saw something in me and he spoke to it. It wasnt just this generic, You can do it! You can be all you can be! kind of thing. He saw a gift, and he spoke to that gift. He said, This is in you! Heres what you can be, and heres what you can do, and that inspired me. How many of you have had some dream wakers in your life? A lot of you have. I hope youll be a dream waker for people in your lives. Parents, I hope youll be a dream waker for your children to see the potential in gifts that God has placed in your childrens lives and speak to them. Dont be a parent who is always negative talking about what they dont do. Talk to them about what they can do, what they should do, what they will do for the Lord. Speak good things into their lives. Speak hopes and dreams. That's what Jacob did. You can make it casual. You can say, Well, you know as parents, we shouldnt have favorites. I wont argue with you, but one thing that Joseph knew, he knew that his father believed in him. His father saw leadership in him, and he spoke it into his sons life. His father demonstrated a confidence in him. When I was growing up all the way through, my mom would speak life to my future. She would affirm the good qualities that are in me. She would speak to my future. Thats what Jacob did. Jacob spoke to his son, and he said, Youre a leader, Son. Youre going to lead your brothers. Me, Dad? Even Ruben? Even Ruben. Im going to give you a special robe that talks about the place you have in my heart, that speaks about the authority Im entrusting to you and about the fact that youre a leader, so Jacob blessed his son. He was a dream awakener in his son. Just like there are dream wakers, Im sad to say there are also dream breakers. Dont let a dream breaker become a dream taker. Dont let somebody who wants to steal your dream succeed. Do you know how to identify dream breakers? A couple ways. Number one, theyre going to speak pretty much the exact opposite of what the dream waker speaks into your lives. The dream waker says, Youre a leader. The dream breaker says, Youre not a leader. Everything Jacob would say to Joseph, his brothers would say, You think youre going to lead over us? You think were going to bow down to you? You think youre going to have authority? Youre nothing! Youre a squirt! Youre our little brother. Go get us a sandwich! Go get us a juice box, Joey! Youre not leader-you dreamer! Youre nothing! Who does Joseph now believe? Does he believe the words of his father who is speaking into his life, or is he going to believe the dream breakers? You said you had some dream wakers in your lives. Have you had any dream breakers? Let me see those hands. Some people that told you all the reasons youre going to fail, and you cant make it with this and that. Do you listen to them? I bet some of you have. You know, its interesting our human nature. Somebody speaks positive into our lives, and we just go, Oh, shucks. That isnt true! But if somebody speaks something negative into your life, you soak it in like a sponge. I was in the ministry for two weeks-two weeks! I was fresh out of school, wet behind the ears, and I was a youth pastor. I had my little congregation there of 15 kids or whatever it was. I had to get up and give my little sermon. There was a girl in our youth group who was the daughter of a prominent family in our church, the family that was in leadership in our church; and she knew it too. Believe me, she knew it. When I started to give my message, she was talking. I did all the techniques Id learned: I try to make eye contact; I try to actually walk toward her in the group, get her attention and speak to her. Nothing worked. She did not want to listen to anything I had to say, so I finally had to say something to her, Now, you need to pay attention to what Im saying. She didnt. She was talking. She and her friends were talking and being very disruptive, and Im getting upset. I finally say to her, Listen, thats enough. You need to stop talking, or youre going to have to leave this group. Pay attention and respect the Word of God. What do you think she does? She gets up, walks out and she takes her little friend with her. They leave the room. Im going, Great! This is a great start! Ive been on the job for two weeks, and now this prominent members daughter has just stormed out of the group. Great! So I finish the message, and I go out in the hallway; and theres the mom waiting for me. Im thinking, Okay, Ive always had a pretty good relationship with the mom. Im just going to tell her what happened. I can hardly get a word out of my mouth, and she says, Well, I dont blame her for walking out of your group! I was listening outside here in the hallway, and you are the most boring speaker Ive ever heard! I dont blame her for not paying attention! I dont know how anybody could pay attention to you! She began to say one thing after another about what a terrible speaker, what a terrible teacher, what a bad leader… I dont know how in the world anybody can learn anything from you because that was so boring! She then walked away, and I was just like, Ahhh! She had taken my dream. My dream was to be a pastor. I wanted to be effective; I wanted to help change those kids lives, and she just told me I was in the wrong line of work. Thats pretty devastating! I remember just standing in the hallway going, Am I in the right job? Am I supposed to be doing what Im doing? Maybe shes right. Maybe Pastor Lyon was wrong! Maybe my professors were wrong. Maybe my mommy was wrong. I dont belong here. This isnt my thing. The way this story ends is I went to my boss, and I said, Pastor, heres what happened. Long story short, she had to come and apologize to me-the mom did. He said, We cant teach your children if youre not going to work with us. I was like, Yeah! And 27 years later, Im still here. Now, watch one of you will come to me, That was a terrible sermon today! You have no business being in the ministry! Mark my words, there will be dream breakers in your life! Heres another way to recognize them. He says in Verse 20, Were going to kill him, right? Throw him in the cistern. Then well see what comes of his dreams! There is a dark pleasure there in those words. A dream breaker-youll recognize them because they actually take pleasure in watching you fail. They actually take pleasure in seeing your dreams go unfulfilled. Thats another way to recognize it. Thats just dark stuff. Somehow they feel better about their lives when they can make you fail or when they can make you feel not as good about yourself as you should. Those are ways to recognize dream takers. I guarantee you if you start to pursue a dream for God, something thats going to glorify God, youre going to encounter dream breakers. Youre going to encounter them, but dont let them take your dream because thats the third person were going to talk about here today. Those are called dream makers. I would call them dream keepers, but it doesnt rhyme. Dream makers. Because God can put gifts in your lives, talents and abilities in your lives, and God can give you a purpose-if people can be dream wakers in your lives and stir up that dream, speak to that potential, speak to your future, ultimately who is responsible for making that dream become a reality? Who is? You are. You have to take ownership for your dreams. You have to pursue those dreams regardless of the adversity; regardless of the negative people that are around you; regardless of whether things work out, you have to take ownership of that dream if its going to become a reality because I want to tell you something. Things were not rosy for young Joseph. I want you to think about what he went through. He is 17 years old. He has the world by the tail. He has the robe going on. Hes bossing around his older brothers. Hes going to be the head of the household. He has this leadership going on, and all of the sudden hes taken away from his dad, his home, his brothers, and he is now a slave. Hes a slave. He is property. He is owned by Potiphar. Potiphar is one of Pharaohs officials. He is now property. Yet, even in that adverse circumstance, hes a leader, and God begins to use him. He rises to prominence in Potiphars household, so he begins to run the household. Potiphar turns everything over to Joseph, and Joseph is now the boss. He entrusts everything into his care, so even in adversity, his leadership gifts rise to the top. Now, I guess hes a good-looking kid because Potiphars wife takes a fancy to him. She says, Hey, good looking. Whatve you got cooking? He says, Nothing for you. She gets offended, grabs him and his robe rips off. Apparently this is a common thread running through Josephs life-pun intended. Then after he leaves, shes offended and hurt, and she tells her husband, Your Hebrew slave here, look what he tried to do to me. He tried to rape me! She makes up this whole story. Potiphar is enraged, and Joseph is thrown into prison. Hes thrown into prison for a crime he did not commit. Now, can you get lower than this? You were once on the road to success, Easy Street, and now you are a prisoner slave-a prisoner slave with no rights, no importance, and no clout. A prisoner slave. How many times could Joseph have said, Oh, is this what your plan is for me, God? Forget it. Is this what it means to be a follower of You? Forget it. You told me I was going to be somebody of influence, power and authority. Im a prisoner and Im a slave. If this is what it means to follow You, God, no thanks! For some of you, God has given you a dream, and as soon as its gotten hard, you have said, Well, if this is what it means to be a follower of Christ, well, see You later. I dont need this. Friends, I can tell you if its a worthwhile dream, its going to be hard. There are going to be difficult circumstances, but its in those difficult circumstances that God will hone your character. Its in those difficult circumstances that God will take those gifts, sharpen those gifts and use those gifts for His glory. Dont despise those adverse circumstances. Realize that God does His best work in and amongst those adverse circumstances. While hes in prison, while hes a slave, he is a leader. He is growing in his character. Hes growing in his people skills. Hes developing his leadership gifts. In spite of adversity, Joseph holds on to his dream. He doesnt let the words of his brothers take his dream; he doesnt let his life circumstances take his dream; he doesnt let false acquisitions take his dream. Joseph holds on to the promise of leadership given to him by his father and ultimately from God. He holds on to it with a tenacious grip. He wont let it go. Then things seem to break. Hes in prison and there are two other cellmates with him-the cupbearer and the baker. It sounds like a nursery rhyme. One of these guys was the chief baker for the Pharaoh, and the other one was the cupbearer. He would take a sip of the wine and make sure it wasnt poisoned before he handed it to Pharaoh. These two guys are perplexed, and he says, Whats wrong with you guys? They say, Well, we had a dream. Well, tell me about the dream. The cupbearer goes first. He says, Well, theres this branch, this vine, and there are three branches coming off of it. It buds, and theres a cluster and grapes come out of it. I squeeze them into the cup that Pharaoh is holding, and he drinks of the cup. What does that mean? Oh, well heres what it means. It means in three days, Pharaoh is going to take you out of prison, and hes going to restore you to your place as cupbearer. Youre going to get your job back. Youre going to be the cupbearer for the King in three days again, and everything is going to be great. Youre going to live happily ever after. Youll be back in the thrown with the King, and it will be wonderful for you. Thanks, Joe! Thats an awesome dream! Thank you! All of the sudden, his hope is restored. Then the baker comes, and he says, Hey, I have a dream too. He says, Whats your dream? He says, Well, there are these three baskets on my head. The top basket is all of these baked goods. There are these birds coming around them. Theyre eating the bread and the food, and I have to keep batting them away. What does that mean, Joseph? He says, Well, in three days, youre going to be taken out of prison. Pharaoh is going to hang you, and the birds are going to come and eat your flesh. Thanks, Joe! I appreciate that! His dream gets interpreted too. Both dreams come to pass. Joseph says to the cupbearer, Listen, when you get out of prison, would you be kind to me? Would you remember me? Will you tell Pharaoh what I did for you because Im in here without cause? I didnt do anything wrong. Could you remember me and say a good thing for me to Pharaoh? Sure, of course I will, Joe. Dont worry about it. No problem. Ill remember you. Lets look at Chapter 40:23 (page 42 of pew Bibles). The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph. He forgot him. When two full years had passed, Pharaoh had a dream… Think about that! Two full years: he continues to sit in that prison cell for over two years for a crime he did not commit. Joseph now is 30 years old. He had the dream when he was 17. He is now 30. Pharaoh has a dream. There are two dreams, and there are weak cows and fat cows. The fat cows are eating by the weak cows. Then there were sickly grain and healthy grain, and the sickly grain eats the healthy grain. There are seven grains; there are seven cows, and what does all that mean? Nobody can interpret it, and the cupbearer goes, I know a guy! Hes a Hebrew. His name is Joseph. Hes in prison, and he interprets dreams. Pharaoh says, Tell me this dream. He says, Well, I dont know the dream, but God does. He tells him the dream, and he says, Well, I dont know the dream, but God does. He tells him the dream, and he says, Well, heres what it is. There are going to be seven years of plenty, and then there are going to be seven years of famine. What you need to do is take a fifth of your grain for seven years and store it, so that when the famine comes, therell be enough grain to survive. You need to take somebody who has wisdom and discernment and put them in charge of this project. Pharaoh goes, You know what? God gave you the interpretation for the dream. Youre going to be my guy. Youre going to be my guy. Talk about a promotion! Look at Chapter 41:41, So Pharaoh said to Joseph, I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt. Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his finger and put it on Josephs finger. He dressed him in robes of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck. He had him ride in a chariot as his second-in-command, and men shouted before him, Make way! or bow down. Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt. Notice what it says here in Verse 42, the second part, He dressed him in robes of fine linen. Does that sound familiar? Remember when his dream is taken from him and stripped from his brothers? He holds on to it all the way through the decades. What happens? God then puts the robe back on him. God wants to put the robe back on some of you. Youve allowed people to take away your robes. Youve allowed people to take away your dreams and shred them. God says, I want to put that robe back on you. I want to restore your dream. I want to restore whats been shattered and whats been taken from you. Pharaoh puts that robe on Joseph, and it has fancy linen and fine colors. It says, Im a leader. Im going to lead! Nine years later, the dream is ultimately fulfilled when at age 39 after seven years of prosperity and two years of famine, his brothers come before him and bow down before their brother. They dont know its him. I would encourage you when you get home to read beyond what weve read today. I mean I was reading this story this week all the way through to where Jacob and Joseph are reunited and when Joseph and Benjamin, his little brother, are reunited; and I actually cried like a girly man. This is a powerful story. I hope Spielberg can get a hold of this someday and make a movie out of it. Its really awesome! There is a Scripture in Ephesians I want to read for you-Ephesians 5:14 (page 1159). Some believe that Verse 14 is a hymn of the early church. Paul writes this, Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you. Hes speaking to the church, and hes saying, There are some out there who are sleeping. There are some out there who are wasting their gifts; theyre wasting their potential. He says, You need to wake up and fulfill the dream, fulfill the potential, develop the gift, use the talent, and Christ will shine on you. You will be a reflection of Christ to the world. You will be a reflection to glorify the Lord to the world. He will shine on you. Be careful then how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity… Use your time wisely. …because the days are evil. When he says the days are evil, its not talking about the corruption in the world. That Greek word has more to do with like the bumper stickers that are on our cars that say, Stuff happens. That Greek word evil means stuff. Its the things that distract us away from Gods purpose and calling. Its the bad things. Its the adverse things that happen to us that causes light not to shine through us. He says to be aware of that. Let Christ shine on you. Wake up! Maybe for some of you this morning, this sermon-Im being a dream waker for you. Maybe there are some dreams that are awakening in your lives. Maybe there is a robe or a calling that God has placed on you thats been taken off, and you need to put it back on. You say, Lord, Im going to live out my potential for You. I want to live out my calling for You today. Were going to listen to a song. This song we are getting from our archives. This was in the day when our production team-before we had all of these moving and fancy images and stuff like that-so the sound isnt that good either.
