Introduction When we suffer as God’s people, one of the greatest difficulties is the feeling that God is distant and detached from us. In hard times we sometimes think that we are all alone, that God Himself does not care about us. But the passage before us tonight shows that God never abandons His people and breaks His covenant with them. Even when we do not see God’s hand, purpose, and working, God is still faithful to us. We must learn to trust God in all things no matter what.
