Myles was part of a team of FCCers that travelled to Ecuador to serve and visit with Bruce and Cherith Rydbeck of HCJB (Heralding Christ Jesus’ Blessings). HCJB Global’s work is focused on being the Voice and Hands of Jesus through media and healthcare ministry. In support of this ministry, our team took to helping to build water transportation systems as well as lead a VBS program and visit prisoners at a prison in Quito. Myles will give a slide presentation in a somewhat chronological order of how the week went, pausing at significant points to elaborate on things like the critical need for clean water, background of the community, the history of HCJB, the project plan and goals, what we actually worked on, our interaction with the community, the impact to the community of actually joining them in their quest for clean water, etc.
