This powerful software is free of charge and built by Sermon Player specifically for our users. It will take the files you have saved on DVD or CD, or on your computer, and create an "upload friendly" copy of the files. You then upload the copy created by the Media Converter, which will upload even faster and easier than uploading the original file. This software keeps users from having to worry about file types, settings, and the things that can get in the way of sharing your messages easily. There is also a built in recording studio, making it very easy to capture your daily updates, devotionals, or anything else you would like to share with your audience. Your recording is saved to your computer in an upload friendly format, which you can then easily add to your archives.

You can easily track the number of times each of your messages has been accessed, as well as how it was accessed. You can view whether your audience is downloading your messages to their computer, listening or viewing through the player itself, or using your podcast to access your content. This is broken up by each message you add, so you can see which topics your congregation is going back to revisit or which topics interest those that visit your website. Many ministries have reported back to us the increase they've seen in usage as they've told their congregation about the availability of their sermons online, as well as telling their community about the player by mentioning it on the sign outside the church and in advertising. Every ministry strives to be good stewards of the Lord's funds, and this is one way to see that you are making an impact.

Listener Comments

The unseen audience

You can allow your audience to leave a private comment for your ministry for each record in your archive. These comments will include any contact information the audience wishes to include, and will allow you to come into contact with those seeking more guidance or who have questions or comments about your content. You can also email the comments to an email address of your choosing, so if you are only logging in on Sundays to add the days sermon you will not be late to respond if a comment is left on Monday. This non-public interaction brings a closeness to your online ministry that your audience will value and take advantage of.




 

Why are the sponsors?
Our goal is to break all the barriers potentially keeping the church from broadcasting their sermons online. Many of you can relate to annual budget restraints that make advancing your outreach in new technology a difficult task. From the beginning Sermon Player has based our pricing on the size of the church and not on the use of the service. The larger church has a larger listeners base yet a budget to cover the added expense. We believe the newly planted church or smaller churches should have the same benefits of broadcasting the gospel online to help reach the lost in their community and raise awareness to those searching for a church home.

Who are the sponsors?
Each week there will be newly added sponsors to the network. We are screening each company and the product/service they provide. We are focusing on relationships with organizations looking to provide your listeners with additional resources to grow in their relationship with the Lord, their family, and the church.

What will my listeners experience?
Each time your free sponsored network player is loaded the listener will see your archive of sermons and options available as usual. Within 15 seconds a small banner image will appear in the top display panel of your player. The banner will remain displayed for 30 seconds and then it will rotate to another sponsor. At anytime the listener may close the banner to view the content displayed. Once closed the cycle will start over.

After much research in available advertising mediums we have decided this method is the least intrusive and easily managed by your listeners. Network sponsors will receive the exposure necessary to reach their target consumer and your listening audience will maintain uninterrupted listening minutes.

What if i don't want the sponsor banners to display in my player?
The player viewed within your channel on the Sermon Network will always have a sponsor banner within the player. The Sermon Network is additional exposure for your ministry beyond what you are doing. This exposure does not cost you anything other than the time it takes to contribute your sermons. The sponsors cover the expense of storage and delivery of your sermons.

With that being said, if you would like to have a sponsor free player on your church web site or blog you may due so by upgrading to a premium account. Your flat rate monthly fee will cover all storage and delivery.

When the player is opened from the CD or desktop, the user is connected online to your player where they have access to all of your content. This helps churches by not having to burn CD copies of the sermons every week, as well as keeping to a minimum copies that never get handed out and begin piling up. It also gives you the ability to share all of your sermons, not just one, with any person requesting a sermon.

You have the ability to separate your content into multiple podcast feeds, so your sermons can be distinct from the youth department, music ministry, in house training, and any other content you may have. Your audience can subscribe to the podcast that fits their needs and receive the content that is geared to them. You choose the URL for your podcast, so it can accurately describe the content you are delivering.

Multiple players/playlists

You can group different types of content and install multiple players on your website that each have different content. For example, one player that has all of your sermons, another on the youth page that has only youth content, and another player that is not public for your music ministry to practice with, or for in-house training purposes. When you are adding your content, you simply select which player you would like it to go to, and you are done! Each of these players can also have it's own podcast feed, furthering your ability to separate your content.
