The Ascension of our Lord happened some 40 days after His resurrection. For 40 days, He walked among them here and there. Showing Himself alive, Luke says in Acts 1:3, "after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God..."
