Recently, I found myself in a somewhat sad state of mind. I could name about four or five things that were weighing on my mind. I found myself humming Ray LaMontagne’s song, “Trouble.” Then it occurred to me that none of the problems I was stressing over compared to things I have faced in the past or to the things others are enduring right now. But human nature seems to always adjust to comfort to the point of discomfort. We’ll talk about this in Sunday’s message.
