Our faith will never rise above our dreams Your soul comprises the area of your mind, will, and emotions. In the context of this passage the soul represents the overall condition of oneâ€"s life. The word prosper is used to refer to a traveler having a good or successful journey, and speaks metaphorically of success in every area of life. We will never prosper in any area of life beyond the degree of the prosperity of our soul. The way we see ourselves and the world around us will have a direct affect upon our faith walk.
