I believe that one of the greatest problems with the church in the United States is drunkenness. By this, I am not referring to being intoxicated with alcohol, but rather a lack of understanding of the seriousness of the hour in which we are living. There has come upon the church in this country a spirit of slumber, that has lulled us into believing that there is no urgency. The delusion of the hour in which we are living has caused us to fail to recognize what the Spirit is saying to the church. (2 Pet 3:3-5 KJV) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, {4} And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. {5} For this they willingly are ignorant
