Please turn with me in your Bibles to the New Testament Letter of 1 Corinthians. For todays scripture, we are going to be reading 1 Corinthians chapter 12, verses 1 - 12. For the last couple of weeks, we have been covering a series of sermons and teachings on “Uniting Our Gifts As One Body”. Today brings us to Part Three of this series, which will bring us to the third and final week of this topic on our Spiritual Gifts. What we have been doing is exploring Gods Word and infusing our lives with important and key scriptures that direct us in our Christian walk, that help us discern and recognize our gifts, and those scriptures that call us to unite those gifts together as one Body in Christ. Folks, We Have All been designed and given special and specific gifts that were given to us for the sole purpose of Glorifying God. Today we will continue and complete this topic of Spiritual Gifts, and I pray that we will All have recognized the ones that we have been given and that we will now have learned to bring them together in Unity with one another & here in our Church. Here in 1 Corinthians 12, the Apostle Paul is writing again on this topic, and hes explaining that there are different kinds of gifts available from God, but they all come from the same Spirit. He tells us that there are different kinds of service, but they are still in service to the same Lord. He writes here that there are different kinds of works, but its the same God that works all of them, in all men. Let us be alert to these Words of God today, & Let us learn to apply them to our lives. Listen closely as we read our scripture for today, 1 Corinthians chapter 12, verses 1 - 12.
