Please turn with me in your Bibles to the Old Testament book of Psalm. For todays scripture, we are going to be reading Psalm chapter 119, verses 105 - 112. As I had mentioned to you last Sunday, in the book of Psalm, there are 150 different chapters of acts of worship and praise that were written about our Lord. Last week we covered chapter 33, and this week, we are going to spring forward to chapter 119 to share in this praise a little more. Most of the Psalms were written between the years of 1,000 and 587 B.C. which covers a time period of more than 400 years, and its all been brought together right here in this book! The book includes prayers, acts of praise and petitions, and even songs and hymns. Even though the Psalms are nearly 3,000 years old, we can very well relate to them even today! Now that we have entered in to the month of July, and are now beginning the 2nd half of 2011, may we seek God’s word for His direction, and may we cling to His wisdom so we can find our way. Lets listen closely, as we read our scripture for today, Psalm 119, verses 105 - 112.
