In our text for today we see that Jesus was indeed willing to reach out and touch the untouchable. And in so doing Jesus shows all of us that no matter what guilt, shame, dirtiness, sinfulness, loneliness we are dealing with in our lives, we can be sure that Jesus is ready, willing and able to meet us where we are at as he reaches out His hand to pull us up and out of our situation.
