In this message we look at the importance of biblical chronology -- the biblical timeline and what the story of God's dealings with mankind is focused on: Redemption through Jesus Christ. That timeline has a key component in the identification of King Cyrus, of Persia, and his decree to rebuild Jerusalem following the Bablyonian invasion, destruction of the Temple and the city, and the captivity of the Jews by King Nebuchadnezzar. Ezra and Nehemiah are the story of that return and rebuilding of the Temple and the walls of the city.
