"Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away" (Hebrews 2:1). These Christians were about to give up serving our Lord. The writer is warning them about drifting. Drifting leads to apostasy. Apostasy will cause one to lose their soul. This is the great danger of drifting!
