One of the favorite words used in the context of the Web is "community." Facebook, eBay, Twitter, Craigâ€"s List, Google and now Second Life are all in the business of building “communities.â€� The early Christians were big on community. They did a great deal together and they lived out their lives together. They care for one another and shared with each other. They learned, worshipped, prayed together in the Temple. They eat together and met in each otherâ€"s homesâ€"all the while praising God. Perhaps what people are looking for is what they ought to find in the fellowship of the Christians called the church.
