Again today we revel in the joy of our this series delving into the anointing. But today we will take a brief junket into our need to develop a truly powerful and dynamic relationship with the true identity or OUR God. Could it be possible that we Christians have allowed the term God to become somewhat powerless in our mention of it? That term "god" can be used of any character viewed as a deity by any person or persons on the earth. I believe it is time for the church of Jesus Christ to return to a far more personal nomenclature as it relates to Jehovah, the Almighty, the Everlasting Father, the Eternal, the Ancient of Days. I do not espouse that we turn from the use of the term "God" as it relates to our heavenly Father, but what I do suggest is that we work to be sure our utterance of that term, "God," is more than a simple title, but does indeed identify the Yahweh Elohim, the El Shaddai of the Old Testament Who, by the way, has not changed. On American currency can be found the phrase, "In God We Trust." Who IS that "God?" I can tell you for a certainty that on American currency it represents Jehovah. But how clear is that to people who simply know it as a slogan? Let's get to know our great God Jehovah who really does want you "weal;" that is, "wealthy and healthy."
