When Jesus commands us to love one another, he seems to speak of love and friendship as nearly synonymous. We sometimes have friendships that are deep, intimate, and loving, but we also have Facebook friends. And although Jesus seeks a deep, loving, intimate friendship with us, we too often settle for a Facebook faith.
