In 1 Samuel 9:1-27 we learn that God's providence permeates the mundane. In 9:1-14 we see Saul's fruitless donkey search from his perspective- random circumstances that lead to failure. But in 9:15-27 the perspective changes as we see God's sovereignty guiding every one of those seemingly random circumstances. May we have hope and contentment knowing that God's providence permeates the mundane in our lives.
