I Peter 4:12-19 -- The American church does not know persecution. We are blessed, for now. Slowly, things have been setting up for persecution in the American church. No school prayer, hatred of crosses or "In God We Trust" on our money all add up eventually to true persecution. Peter tells us to rejoice when we are persecuted.
