Today we focus upon prayer as a vital part of our worship of the Savior. When Mary was chosen as the mother of the Savior immediately she broke forth in prayer. We call it the Magnificat. Nothing reflects our relationship with Jesus like our prayer life. We sometimes say, "Prayer is the breath of the soul." We recognize Jesus' power, authority, and love by communicating with Him regularly and personally. Prayer identifies a relationship that has moved from ideas and concepts to personal connection. Today we want to experience prayer as an essential part of our worship that enables us to live all of life in the presence of Jesus.
