One of the most difficult places to "be the church," to put your faith into action, is in your marriage, because your spouse is the person who is most aware of your sins and weaknesses. To make a marriage work God commands that a husband give unconditional love to his wife and that a wife give unconditional respect to her husband. Without love and respect a marriage with never be healthy.
