The Established Covenant and The Established Heart

The Established Covenant (Deut. 8:18) A. It is God who gives us the power to get wealth B. Poverty is under the curse! The Established Heart (Psalm 112) must meditate in the Word day and night in order to deal wisely. A. The wise man will not borrow B. The wise man will not be surety for a note (Proverbs 17:15) C. The rich young ruler did not deal wisely because he did not know. (Proverbs 19:17) God throughout the Word plainly shows His will toward His Covenant people having a surplus of prosperity. The blessing says this. It says the Lord shall open to you His good treasury. You shall lend to many and borrow from none. God promised to make Abraham rich and the promise of Abraham is ours. (Genesis 17:6) God brought His Covenant people out of Egypt with silver and gold. There was not a feeble one among them. The Lord gave His Covenant people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so they gave them what they asked. (Exodus 12:36) Fear of God’s Covenant people fell on the Egyptians. God remembered His Holy Word and promise to Abraham, His servant, and gave them the lands of the nations. (Psalm 105) We are God’s Covenant people, too, only we are under a better covenant. God’s desire for His Covenant people has not changed. We have the blessing of Abraham. On our behalf, God remembers His Covenant with His Son, Jesus and meets our needs spiritually, physically and financially as His very own sons! We, by the Scriptures, know His ability to make every favor and earthly blessing come to us in abundance. (II Corinthians 9:8 AMP) How much more does God desire to bless His own sons if He so richly blessed His servants? Read Psalm 105, with Israel being the Body of Christ. The Church is spiritual Israel. Since I accepted God’s call to this ministry, I have had a strong desire to preach and share with others the things I have learned from the Word. That is almost all I think about!
