I like the custom that some folks have of having a thanksgiving in their home. For those unfamiliar with the practice, the family will invite their friends to their home for a service and meal to acknowledge and thank God for his goodness in their lives. Wouldn't it be wonderful on Thanksgiving day if our government had some official function where they would gather and our Prime Minister would acknowledge and thank, on behalf of the nation, God for His goodness to our country?
