1. God promised that Israel would be conquored by the Babylonian empire, because of their rebellion against Him. 2. God promised that He would punish Babylon and gather the people of Israel back to their land to rebuild it, once they returned to the Lord and obeyed His commands. 3. God promised that Jerusalem would again fall, to punish sin and fulfill Hid word. 4. God promised that the jews would return to Israel, again becoming a nation, and Jerusalem would be restored to the Hebrew people.
