And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— John 14:16 This week as we continue our study of John’s Gospel, we will look at verses 9-17 of the 15th chapter. Following Jesus teaching on “Abiding”, He calls the Disciples to love one another as He has loved them. He also links Loving and Obeying with Abiding. Look at these few verses and see what you think the relationship is between “Abiding”, Loving and Obeying. We are called to do all three, but how do they mesh together in in our everyday lives in light of what we’ve learned about the Holy Spirit? We’ll study together on Sunday.
