This Sunday we will continue our Christmas series, The Greatest Story Ever Told by talking about Jesus the Healer. In Luke 5:12-16 Jesus is approached by a leper who says, If you will, I know you can heal me. This question, and what happens in this dramatic encounter, is at the center of the Good News that we celebrate at Christmas. Special thanks to Jerry Cox for his outstanding message last week on Jesus Calls from Luke 5:1-11. Jerry challenged us to consider God's call on each of our lives. None of us is purposed by God to sit on the bench, as it were. We are called into the game! God has a place and a purpose for each of us in the unfolding Kingdom of which Jesus is Lord.
