This Sunday will be the 4th message in the series, King's Cross: The Story of the World in the Life of Jesus, an expositional series from the Gospel of Mark. We will focus on Mark 5:21-43 and the subject of When You Are Waiting on God. Jesus is summoned by a synagogue leader named Jairus to come attend to his near-death daughter. On the way there a woman touches Jesus' garment in an attempt to be healed from a chronic malady which has left her broke and desperate. Jesus stops to minister to her, and by the time he resumes his trip Jairus' daughter has died. We know the story and that it ends happily, but there is a lot going on in the middle that teaches us about waiting on God. That's what we'll focus on. This is a beautiful and powerful passage and I can't wait to dig into it with you. As always, bring your Bibles this Sunday!
