The first introductory sermon to this series in Isaiah 40-66 pointed out how the Lord establishes His ownership over Israel (a father and a farmer), the future, and judgment. The problem is that Israel is promised a glorious future, but has proven to be a rebellious nation, ripe only for judgment. So the question is, how will Israel be redeemed so as to become righteous rather than rebellious?
