It's easy to get frustrated with the slow progress of our work of evangelism and discipleship. What should we do when the church fails to live up to our expectations? Quit? Looking into the future, Isaiah sees a time when the work of proclaiming God's message will meet with horrific opposition, and God's appointed messengers will become exhausted and discouraged. But in this sermon, we find that he has a word for them--and us, and that word is the secret of obtaining the strength to serve.
