Post Pesach Counting the Omer and Yeshua's 40 days. As we do every year in the spring, we intently focus on the Pesach celebratioor that remembers our journey from slavery in Egypt to freedom and 2,000 years ago the death, burial, and resurrection of Yeshua, the Messiah over Passover. From His resurrection until His ascension into heaven, a total of 40 days elapsed during the period of the 49 days of Counting of the Omer which takes place between Pesach and Shavuot. During this 40 days there were many miracles that Yeshua did. John 20:1-2. Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Miryam from Magdala went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb. 2 So she came running to Shim`on Kefa and the other talmid, the one Yeshua loved, and said to them, "They've taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they've put him!" As I shared in the Seder, it was in fact the first day of the week before sunrise and Yeshua was already gone, Having left the tomb as the Ha Bikkurim offering was being performed by the High Priest on the steps of the Temple.
